The most independent Carmen
There is no better tribute to the most mythical Carmen than the vision of one of the most vanguard and leading names in Flamenco dance. Carmen versus Israel. Israel and Carmen.
150 reasons for an anniversary. Classical and cutting-edge. Respect and audacity. Creativity. Dance as the sublime expression of ideas and emotions.
The most passionate and free Carmen in a show which crowns one of the most brilliant trajectories of dance and of flamenco. The inspiring force of a creator for a myth. The freedom, the independence, the passion: from the perspective of Israel Galván.
Beyond the myth, from the perspective of dance, the ability to captivate and convert the magic of an instant into something eternal. The sheer force of Galván accompanied by artists as Nancy Fabiola Herrera (Carmen), José Bros (Don José), Ángel Ódena (Escamillo) and María Marín (cante and guitar). The Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla (Royal Seville Symphony Orchestra) conducted by the acclaimed maestra Maria Itkonen. Great musical names for a great myth.
The eternity of beauty. Culture as identity. Flashbacks and bravado.
