Excellence, connection, and dialogue

These artists represent part of a select group of the best musicians in Europe. Many sit within the stands of the most important orchestras, from the Berlin Philharmonic to the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, and all of them -without exception- are excellent chamber musicians.

Along with the natural practice of musical dialogue which, in other words, means performing chamber music, they have added teaching: that generous and transcendental act of communication which goes beyond a question of age or diverseness: these excellent musicians make up the educational team of the Barenboim-Said Foundation. Each month they come to Seville to teach and inspire young students for what is normally an extraordinary and productive visit.

A vocation of exchange and fraternity is inherent in the Barenboim-Said project and, as well, it is fundamental here: a mosaic of connection and diversity for centuries in this part of the world is what propelled the Teatro de la Maestranza to expand that relationship beyond the classrooms of the Foundation to the concert hall and encourage it via the audience.

Excellence, connection, and dialogue to rediscover ourselves in a live performance as an intimate and transformative experience: one where we observe a gathering between different voices is always more rewarding (and powerful) than that of one single voice.
