Chamber music talent

  • Date:
    13 May 8 p.m.
  • Hall: Sala Manuel García

The Maestranza, in collaboration with Juventudes Musicales de Sevilla, supports promising young talent in Andalusia and across Spain in this chamber music series. This season there will be four concerts in the Sala Manuel García.

Javier López Escalona and Elio Coria have put together an entire programme of Andalusian composers, motivated by their interest in recovering music that is largely unknown or unpublished; and which is part of the Andalusian musical patrimony for the cello.

All the programming in the Sala Manuel García is made possible thanks to the support of the Fundación Banco Sabadell.

  • Cello: Javier López Escalona
  • Piano: Elio Coria

Javier López Escalona

Elio Coria

Born in Buenos Aires, has received many awards, among them, “Revelación Musical” (Emerging talent) from the Asociación de Críticos Musicales of Argentina in 2015.
